Aces get in Halloween spirit

The St. Stephen Aces have a busy weekend with home games Friday (vs Miramichi) and Saturday (vs Yarmouth) but the team is making time to enjoy the spooky season too.
WIN AN ACES’ CARVED JACK-O-LANTERN AND TRICK OR TREAT WITH THE ACES!

Players will work this week in teams of two to carve jack-o-lanterns, donated by the Atlantic Superstore in St. Stephen. The pumpkins will be on display at the game Saturday vs the Yarmouth Mariners and fans can take one home by bidding in a silent auction. Not only do the winners take home the pumpkins, they also get the players who carved them to trick or treat with their children or grandchildren.
The Aces players who carved the pumpkin that gets the highest bid will also receive a prize from Ganong – so we expect the carving competition to be fierce.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Atlantic Superstore St. Stephen Children’s Charity.
Saturday’s game is sponsored by Ganong Bros and all kids will receive Halloween treats from Ganong. We’ll also be holding a costume contest with the winner receiving a Ganong prize.
On Sunday, from 6-8:30 pm, Aces players will help supervise a St. Stephen Middle School Haunted Forest at 5 Strang Road, Oak Bay. Admission is $5 per student with all proceeds going directly to help with replace the seats in the Middle School Auditorium.
